I thought I'd begin a list of free Wifi hotspots. If you know of any, please copy the most recent updated post and add yours to the list. That way we won't have several strung out over multiple posts:

Itaewon:
Coffee Bean
Coldstone Creamery (spotty)
Geckos Terrace
Tom & Tom's
WhatTheBook

Technomart:
Random areas on middle and upper floors

Yongsan station I-Park Mall:
Random areas on computer sales floors

Daehangno:
Baskin Robbins/Mr. Pizza area

Myongdong:

Pascuzzi Coffee
Lotte Dept. Store electronics floor near escalator

Which Technomart do you mean? For Sindorim TM, the ground floor around Starbucks is good, as is the 7th floor.

Apgujeong:
Take Urban, near the designer's Club
Bus stop near the Burger King/Hana Bank. One of the small shops there has a linksys, if you stand close to the building near the bus stop you can usually pick it up, but its a little random on speed.

Konkuk University
Starcity - basement level around the Bandi & Loonis

Cheongdam:
Daiso - inside the subway station, dollar store kind of place

What would be more useful is google map kind of thing

The whole of Gangnam Daero where the media poles are has free wireless, but it's not very good.

Seems like most Starbucks I go to are free if you have Nespot -- which isn't free. Sad

Pascuzzi are free.

I haven't been able to get free wifi out of Starbucks in Itaewon lately... by the front door, anyway. All I see is Nespot.

I wasn't disagreeing with you. Actually, I'm curious if free wifi is available on the upper floors of Itaewon Starbucks? Probably not. I'd have to think I could pick up a signal downstairs by the door if it were.
