I've never been able to find anything remotely close to what I'm looking for via the search. As an example, I search for "daft punk" without quotes and get this - http://i30.tinypic.com/152i2ax.jpg
I search it with the quotes and still can't find what I'm looking for.
I remember recently a thread that talked about a video a teacher had made where he had his students doing something involving daft punk, but I never got to see it.
However, I type "daft punk korea" into google and it's the third result.
Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong with the Dave's search? |

You're using it. That's what's wrong.
I usually go to google, and click on advanced search, and enter http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea in the last field where it asks search site / domain. That usually works for me. I hope this helps. When a friend told showed me how to make an advanced search with google, it was like the first time I used the internet...an utter revelation. |

You're not reading the instructions to the left of the search bar.....
Search for Keywords:
You can use AND to define words which must be in the results, OR to define words which may be in the result and NOT to define words which should not be in the result. Use * as a wildcard for partial matches
Type and between words when you search more than one word. |

Thanks for clearing that up! The search instructions should say, "You must type and between words if your search involves more than one word." The current wording doesn't make sense. |
