I'm surprised someone hasn't posted this already. So, here it is. More of the same. Doing what is politically expedient instead of what generates the most welfare for the people.

The Chinese trade dirty. They also pay America's bills. Obama should be sending them a thank you note each month. Don't piss off your banker.

I think more nations should put trade restrictions on China. Cheap goods are killing our planet and not providing welfare for anyone. You must replace those tires more often, they are less safe. The people making them aren't paid well at all and i'm sure the pollution controls at the Chinese factories are subpar and affecting everyone on the planet. Cheap Chinese goods are not available for the 'peoples welfare.'

Do you have any evidence for this?

As for the rest of your post. granted, China does produce a lot of rubbish, but that is how all the other Asian countries that became wealthy (Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong etc) did it. It's called the flying geese model

Check it out some time.
