It's obviously both good and bad. For some people it's more or less pure good--for others, it's clearly pure bad.

For me, it's about 60/40 good to bad.

How about you? How are you bearing up? Are you fixating on the negative stuff, of which there is a constant supply, and finding it pollutes your daily life? Or, are you using it to get lots of free cool stuff and free information, whilst you patch up old broken friendships, and stay in contact with your best friends and family?

For me it's a mix...I read all sorts of horrible stuff all the time, for fun, and I'm pretty sure that's bad for me and fills me with despair and a huge weight of misanthropic disgust. But I also get lots of new cool info (and pirated music and whatnot) and save a lot on long distance bills.

It might be different for you young tackers who became adults in the last ten years or so. Anyway, I'd be curious to hear how you all measure its effect on you.

Has it changed you? How so, if so?
