Has anybody heard of anyone doing a midnight run from a Korean public school and being rehired at a later date by EPIK or SMOE or Gyoengi do. I suspect that once you break a contract at a public school you will never get rehired by one. If you know anything about this let me know. |

Once you've been hired by a PS - you can not be represented by a recruiter for another PS job. You have to apply to EPIK directly (not sure about GEPIK etc). EPIK's application form would find you out.
You would also have to wait out the term of your current contract before being able to get another visa. |

A midnight run is escaping from a situation without anybody noticing or knowing about it. In this case buying an airline ticket and leaving the country without giving any notification. |

It miiiight be possible if you go from EPIK to SMOE or another regional switch, but if you're running from EPIK and then trying to go back to EPIK, the chances are slim to none.
Hand in your notice? If it's a medical or family emergency, I'd still hand in my notice but tell them you're leaving earlier. Not perfect but better than a run if you really want to come back. |
