Care to link to the actual post? It could be that the teacher had it coming, who knows. The place may have changed.

Jung Chul is about a 3 out of 10 on the hagwon scale of badness.

Not quite Wonderland level bad, but it is down there.

Dongdaemun is a nice area though. So you need to ask to speak to one of the current teachers. Preferably someone who has been there longer than 6 months.

It would probably be a no from me. But it is still worth asking. Like all hagwons, they are revolving doors, few people stay longer than a year or two (Koreans and Foreigners) so a lot comes down to the chemistry of the people who are there now.
