I just heard that one of the best students at a middle school just down the road from mine stabbed at least two or three other students this morning. The boy was kind of a loner and apparently did it to get revenge on the other students who teased him. I'm not sure how bad the injuries are, but regardless, it's sad that situations like this happen.

Let's look on the bright side. At least he didn't shoot them with his 9 mm Glock. Razz Razz Razz

I hope this doesn't turn into one of those Korean school system sucks threads.

Oh, the poor wonk-tas.

That sucks,

He might have had a bright future (or as bright as it can get working 9-6 in Korea, doomed to eat sam gyup sal everynight with the same sweaty men and coming home drunk and bored of life to a possibly cheating wife)

It's going to affect his record and placement in schools, that's for sure. Also, kind of feel bad for the kids stabbed.

It's a tragedy. Hope it all works out and they can become friends after this....

sounds like something a Korean teacher would say.. "Hope it works out and they can become friends..."

Really - I don't feel sorry for them..

They were teasing a quiet, loner student - he gave them what they deserved.

What's wrong with you?

People tease me all the time. That doesn't give me the right to stab them.

You can't be serious.

I'm not saying what the kid did was right, of course it wasn't. But if you look at it from the kid's perspective, you can understand why these things happen. Korean kids are not exactly happy.

Well they do.

Maybe you can tell those kids and their parents that they're lucky it was just a puny knife and not a 9mm that they got hit with. How lucky is that Rolling Eyes
