| Being married is better because you always have someone who is there to tell you that everything will be OK. I love being married, but results may vary:) |

it's better to be married because you always have somebody to answer the questions you don't want to answer. |

Or...to quote the wise words of Rita Rudner:
| Quote: |
| I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life. |
Ahh...I do love browsing through quote websites hours on end... |

Not married, but after 4 years and a 13 month stint in Japan, pretty damn close.
Being in a relationship is awesome because you always have someone to play video games with, watch awesome movies with, drink with, and someone to roll around in the hay before/after/during these activities. |

| Single all the way at the moment. When the zest for life and new experiences start to fade that's about the time to think about marriage. |

it's better to be married because you always have somebody to relieve the boredom...to give you something to do. |

I would think married is better if your in true love...
Single is better if you are not... I'd never 'settle' just to be married.
I've never been in love. Marriage would ultimately be hell with every woman I've ever seriously dated... I'm thankful that I'm not married to any of them... I would have driven them crazy, they me, or both...
The ones that Ive ever had the potential of loving, it never got off of the ground for other reasons... I often dream of those missed opportunities... and am waiting for the one time that potential and opportunity align. Historically, Ive also been bad at making things happen to increase the chances of that occurring. I'm now much better at making things happen, and not letting opportunity slip by. The problem is that I'm inherently too laid back and lazy.
As I get older, I think my standards also are getting less flexible. This is because with every girl that i date that I compromise on in some way(a compromise to my personal preferences, not a compromise to the worlds standard of 'perfection'.lol), that compromise becomes ultimately unworkable for me.
Therefore, I'm happy being single until I find what I want and need. No settling, but no more lack of effort in pursuing what I want either... |
