With the won getting the snot kicked out of it right now, why do people stay in Korea and continue to work for Korean bosses?

Things are actually getting better now so anyone that left cashed out too early. You don't sell out when things are going poorly. You sell high. Besides, there are many benefits to living in Korea. Enough benefits to overlook the second-rate currency. Free apt, hot k-girls, cheap booze, beaches, job security, good public transport, excellent food, etc...

I stay in Korea because even though I make much less than I did in the US, I'm able to save A LOT more. Life is different, fun, and challenging all at the same time. It keeps life easy or at the very least - entertaining. Also, if I went home right now, I couldn't even probably find a job at Starbucks, so I think I'll stay where life is good...even if it is in Korea.

Great students
Great movie theaters
Underfloor radiant heating
A great big city where there's always somewhere to go and something to do
12 hour work week
20 weeks vacation
A reasonable salary
Cheap and tasty food

Building off of what Beaver said:

    Safer than the U.S.
    great work package
the value of a "dollar" goes much further here than back home
the quality of life is better
    a break from the norm
phenomenal Internet speeds w/little to no downtime
    an overall welcoming community
gratitude, from students, that goes a long way for people that enjoy their work (like me)
    many other reasons

Because the dollar is getting the snot kicked out of it and the "change we can believe in" has turned into the further economic dowsizing and layoffs of the Bush presidency. Yes I probably should give up my stable, lucrative gig here, go home and sling hash for $1100 a month. Whew! No brainer.
