Some recruiters are telling me I still need to get a criminal background check and get it apostilled despite having an F4 visa. At what point would I need this? I thought the whole benefit of getting an F4 was that you didn't have to go through this stuff...I just want to make sure I really do need it before I go waste money on something I don't really need.
Also some are saying I need sealed transcripts etc. Again, who needs this stuff if it's not to get the visa? Thanks. |

It depends where you are working. For a public school position (full-time) it is a MOE requirement to have a CBC. For a hakwon, not so. Only E-2's are required to get those in that case. |
