|
|
Hey,
I live in the Seoul and really in the mood to get away from it all for Choosuk. I'm looking for something affordable and quiet. I have enough of the busy life here. I was thinking Busan, but how expensive is it really? A weekend at the beach would be nice but maybe it'd be busy. Any other ideas? |

| I wanted to head off to Japan or China but round trip tickets are running 500,000-600,000 W + ... insane. |

| Go to Jeju-do. It's the perfect time to go there. It's not crowded, the weather is warm but not hot, and its cheaper than it was last month. JEJU baby |

| Where on Jeju do you recommend? Are there any nice resorts? Should I make reservations before going or just show up? How much does a room usually cost? Is it better just to get a love motel? I don't mind spending a little bit of cash to stay at a nice place, just don't want to blow a fortune. |

Too bad flights seem to be sold out. Maybe you can get one departing on the Saturday (wayyyy cheaper) but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I went in February 2008 and managed to find accommodation by chance when I arrived, but my parents went this past April and had limited options. If you can, I suggest booking ahead for at least the first night.
Personally, I'm sticking to a place relatively closer to Seoul for Chuseok as I don't want to be stuck in traffic. |
