Does anyone know how to get permission to work for those with an F3 visa? What documents are needed? How long it takes? Or if it's difficult to get?
Thanks so much!

Edit: I'd be on an E2 visa. the F3 visa is for accompanying spouses.

You would need the documents to get a different visa - you can't work on an F-3.

You need to get a F-2-3. Marriage plus permission to work visa.

Certain F-3s can get permission to work, but not if their sponsor is on an E-2.

LOL, still trying to figure it out? Good luck to your and your husband.

You CAN'T Work on an F-3. Those are "dependant" visas. He has to get a working visa. If you were Korean, it would be a different story, but since you're not Korean, he is his own person and if he wants to work, he has to get his own visa. Seriously, do not risk it. Good luck~!

Could I do that if I'm sponsoring him and have an E2 visa?

Ok, well I guess that option's out. What if he were to get a student visa, and study Korean, could he work PT?

Yes, if he has a D-2 (and Immi's permission) he can hold a part-time job (S-3).

Most people studying Korean would be on D-4s and unable to work.

The employer not you has to do it but its very difficult. The employer would have to sponser him/her and its very difficult since they have to prove they cannot hire a korean to do the same work.
