I work in a public school and have a 6th grade "club activity" after-school class once a week. The principal wants me to show videos in English, and then discuss them/give them worksheets. It's a 40 min. class.

Does anyone have any online resources for videos suitable for lower level 6th graders? I showed them some Mr. Bean the first class and we played Last One Standing last class, but I'm having trouble finding good online videos. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

These are my recommendations from youtube. http://www.veewow.com/playlist-yg-THE-BEST-EFL-TEACHING-VIDEOS
I'll have to edit this though. They took away Mr. Morton but find it in the videos of EFL Classroom

Commercials work great. Here's a long list of good commercials for the classroom but you'll have to work out how to use them. Also, click commercials in the above tagcloud.

Some of the best commercials aren't on youtube even. I have a few in the video player of efl classroom. I especially like the coke/pepsi one of the little kid at the gas station. A good way to use videos is turning off the volume and having students describe. Or brainstorming vocabulary after the teacher offers categories. Or role playing the dialogue/scenario after the commerical and/or writing up their own script. like this one.
