do a google search for ESL conversation. one that helps a lot is:
http://iteslj.org/questions/
it can be helpful to pick up some textbook like "Express Yourself" or "Can You Believe It?". these are easy to find in the Kyobo bookstore, or can probably be ordered online at What The Book, located in Itaewon.
it also depends on the level of your students. If they are really low, i would start with "English in Everyday Life".
hope this helps... |

A general question gets a general answer:
Use a book. Make them talk. |

I hate using books for advanced convo classes. The internet is out there, use it. Why don't you ask them what they'd like to talk about? Have each student pick two topics they'd like to chat about. The next class go through the suggestions and tell them the advantages and disadvantages of talking about these topics. Your students will be happy if you pick some of their ideas. |
