i'm trying to find embroidery floss and had no luck at the maze that is the dongdaemun shopping centre (i'm sure it's there, but i had major trouble translating exactly what i meant)
i'd prefer not to go back there if possible, but will if i don't have any other options.
i just need a few colors of embroidery floss....anyone know of alternative places? hongdae is closest to me....

dongdaemun station (not d-station) exit 9, the building to your left (closest to teh ground level parking lot) downstairs on B1 is yarn inthe front half, sewing supplies in the back half i think.

Yeah that's Dongdaemun Shopping Town.

There's also a little shop called Turtle at Hyehwa Station. Take exit 4 and go straight (on the main road) and walk down a few shops. It's on your left, kind of across the street from Bennigan's.

You might also have some luck at the Myeongdong underground shops.

Euljiro-4 has all kinds of sewing shops.

I know they mostly sell machines, but I would think they would have some supplies as well.

kwangjang market on top of jongno 5 has a bunch of sewing supply shops.
