Some recruiter told me this and I didn't tell her that mine aren't. Now I've heard this before, but I just don't think it's true and I have no idea how anyone would know how old they are in the first place. There's no dates on the envelopes and I'm pretty sure there'd be no dates on the actual transcripts.

My NZ university transcripts are dated (on the bottom of the transcript).
I've just had to re-order mine - as the ones I have were printed 2 years ago.
You're right, the info doesn't change, and neither does Korean immigration or recruiters. Immigration say 6 months and your recruiter says 3 months validity. Whom do we believe? |

| i transferred my visa a month ago (E2). i used transcripts that i had done back in feb 2008. it wasnt a problem for me. signed and sealed on the envelope seal. matching dates/stamps on the inside. |

Did immigration make you order new ones after applying for a visa and it being rejected for this reason or did you order new ones just in case?

How do you know what was on the actual transcript? They're supposed to be unopened.
You said that there were matching dates/stamps on the inside. Are you saying that there were dates on the outside?
Sorry about the questions, I'm just curious. If immigration reject my visa for my transcript being too old, I'll be pretty furious. I don't understand why it matters. If immi says that they have to be no more than six months old, mine would maybe still be good, but I've never heard immi mentioning this. |

| originally, my uni didnt seal them. just the actual stamped and signed transcripts. i went to the uni and they signed sealed them in front of me. i handed the transcripts over to my recruiter and it was all fine. however, i was a visa transfer. not a new visa. so maybe that makes a difference. |

I'm re-applying for a new E2 to start in March - so I'm re-ordering just in case. |
