Are there any satire shows which aren't communist like the Daily Show?
Where do red-blooded gun-toting Obama hating men get their satire fix?
I know there is Fox News, but I don't think everyone understands that it's a joke. Are there any straight up funny satirical right wing shows? |

Good grief. Republicans are such cartoon characters. |

Here you go. It's called News Busted. It's not good, though.

The Daily Show is genius because it makes both conservative and liberal minded people laugh at all hypocrisy. |

in my country (the uk) its always the conservative/right who have the best jokes. i'm slightly left of centre but can't help but laugh when jeremy clarkson goes on some tirade about tree-hugging, sandal-wearing guardian readers.. the left just take themselves far too seriously. so maybe we could arrange some sort of swap. |

Right wing shows like Fox News are self-parodies. |

South Park and BullS**** are halfway there.
They're not necessarily right wing, but environmentally and economically, they are. |

Broadly speaking, maybe. I've always been a fan of PJ O'Rourke myself. |

Glenn Beck is funny but I am not sure that he is trying to be. |

The Republicans are too much of a joke already to have a real satire show. Birthers, Steele, good grief. |

I recall Fox tried their own Daily Show stint. Man did that fail hard.
Also, I second South Park and Bull**it. Both very good shows. |

Mark Steyn, Tim Blair and P J O'Rourke are very witty conservatives. Dennis Miller has his moments. There's a great blog called "onecosmos" that regularly takes the p1ss out of leftists.
Of course, comedians are far more prevalent on the left because conservatives tend to have real jobs. |

There will always be more satire mocking Conservatives than satire mocking Liberals. Conservative philosophy goes so strongly against our natural ethical inclinations that it inevitably leads to utterly ridiculous statements and actions from the people trying to justify it.
Sometimes, Liberals incidentally screw up and open themselves to mockery due to personal failings. Conservatives, on the other hand, are innately vulnerable to it. |
