You can use a proxy, other than that you're out of luck.

Yeah it sucks but now I use jango.com, which I think is much better anyway.

Also, no hulu or streaming shows from network websites Sad

Proxy's don't work anymore. They detect them and are like "Oh, no you di'int"

Downloading hotspot shield will get you around being blocked, but it is a pain in the arse for video. Really slows things down, but you can get on Hulu and such. Worth the effort if you really want to see something.
But I never got NBC.com to play right.
I assumed Pandora was video (as I was writing this), but I turned Hotspot Shield on and went to Pandora and am listening to the radio now. Works much better than using it for video.
Now, for videos (if you care to know) I just rely on torrents, ch131.com, yidio.com, casttv.com and sidereel.com for newer things. The older shows are mostly on Youku or another Chinese video server, which are blocked here but work with hotspot shield, but torrents are easier, I think.

I tried to use hot Spot shield but once it's installed I can't connect to the Internet. Kind of defeats the purpose then.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but never works.

Therein lies part of the pain in the arse with Hotspot shield. It worked when I first installed it, then stopped for about a week (talking 6 months ago). It works now, but takes a couple tries to get it working. It works best for me to open it with Explorer. But I'm no computer genius. I rarely use it since there are other options for what I want to watch without the hassle.

Hotspot shield is the only way and it's not reliable. It also sucks because it "shields" THE WHOLE INTERNET and not just your browser. Have to turn off torrents when you use it. It sucks.

It doesn't suck as hard as Jango though.

Jango hadn't heard of the first 5 bands I tried and instantly started blasting its best guess on what I meant every time. No!! Then it kept playing a bunch of stuff I already heard before. No!! If I wanted to listen to that stuff, I'd use winamp. I got sick of it really fast. Maybe I need to be more patient and try it again.

This doesn't work for what's being discussed. hidemyass works at school/work to get sites they block. But does not get you access to sites blocked in this country.

It worked for IRS.gov
I couldn't get on there, from home, until I used hidemyass.com.
I tried it with pandora.com
worked for that too.
