I will be arriving at the Seoul Express Bus Terminal at 1 AM, and have to get to the airport at Incheon for an early morning flight. What kind of transportation is running at that time? How would you get there?

1AM will be a taxi for sure. Haggle for 30,000KRW or less.

Why not stay at Incheon overnight?

Why can't you get a bus to Incheon instead of Seoul? If the flight is 8am or later, you'd be better off waiting for the airport bus which starts at 4:40am in Seoul.

There is a late night bus from Express Bus Terminal (line 3) to Incheon that leaves at around 0230. However, I do not know exactly where it picks up at the bus terminal. i believe that it is 14000 won (same as regular airport bus).

Thank you everyone. The late night buses is the kind of info I was hoping to discover. I would certainly prefer the timing and geography of this to be different, but it just isn't. I'll have to study that schedule to figure out the right one to catch.

Where is the express bus terminal in Incheon in relation to the airport?

No, the Incheon Express Bus terminal is in Incheon at the Bus Terminal station on the Incheon line. This is a completely different station than the Seoul Express Bus Terminal and also has express buses that go across the country. However, it is not particularly close to the airport and a taxi from here would probably still be at least 40 000 W - maybe even more in the middle of the night. I'm not sure how many buses there are in the middle of the night from the Incheon Terminal to the airport - but it won't be that much more convenient than just going to the Seoul Express Bus Terminal if you're already planning to go there.
