President Nixon was about to be impeached and convicted when he was told he needed to resign. He of course did resign. So there is definately a means of removing the executive branch if you have a bad president

So I see you agree then that OBushama & Co. are fascists who need to be overthrown.

It took you long enough to come around.

The only way to "legally" overthrow the US government is to call a Constitutional Convention. During a Constitutional Convention, the entire government can be scrapped, and the Constitution torn up and started over. The only time in history they called a Constitutional Convention, our government was under the Articles of Confederation. By the time it was done, we had a brand new government.

Otherwise, you have to do it illegally because the government would never allow itself to be overthrown without fighting back.

Okay, that's what I want to do -- call a constitututional convention. How do I do that? Is there any legal mechanism where a U.S. citizen can request a constitutional convention?

Wait a minute. I see a problem. I'm going to ask a corrupt government to convene and dissolve itself? Confused

Many people are unaware of this, but Captain Corea comes over to my apartment on Tuesday afternoon to iron my shorts. I pay him 7,000 Won an hour, but I have had to discipline him on several occasions. I like my shorts nice and tidy, with a nice sharp crease, and sometimes he doesn't press hard enough with the iron. After several discussions about the matter, Captain Corea now seems to understand the underlying importance of putting more effort into his work. Overall, there has been improvement in his job performance and I am confident that in the coming months he will merit a raise to 7.5K an hour, barring any further disciplinary issues.

Actually, I thought his comments were right on the mark.

I'm just glad I'm in Korea right now. I do believe a majority of America is being constrained in their beliefs that the government is pilfering their coffers by thinking if they speak out, they will sound crazy.

Either that, or they are just like..."Are you for serious government? Big Ban...government, you can not be for serious right now."

Absolutely.

Unfortunately, when any of hundreds of legitimate questions about current running of our government, no matter how different, are all met with the same tired, old, essentially meaningless epithets of "conspiracy theorist," neo-Nazi," "paranoid," "tinfoil hat," etc., it is going to be effective in silencing a certain portion of them.

Conspiracy theorists can make any charge a they can use any label they want against anyone or group they choose to , whenever they want to . Yet no one can question them or say anything about them.

Glad we cleared that up.

Last week the quarterback of my favorite team overthrew the tight end on a sure touchdown. What a doofus. Technically to ovrthrow the entire U.S. government would mean you had a hell of an arm. A secret is that Joe biden runs a 10 flat 100 meters and so you would have to take that in to consideration. Has hands of stone but streches a defense.

You can't overthrow the government, but if you teach some private lessons, you might be able to save enough money to afford to bribe a Congressman or two, giving you a little bit of say in the government.

But you know what? For most of this decade, I have been really pissed off about the US government destroying the American economy. But I watched a show a couple of weeks ago on the Documentary Channel about how prostitution exploded in Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union and I really think the same thing will happen here in the USA when our tax base collapses, and it will. At that point, think of the potential. When these women can't rely on Uncle Sam anymore and there's no jobs to be had either, they'll have to work for Uncle Reggie. Cool

Don't get me wrong, these economic problems will hurt us all. I'm just saying there's going to be some real potential out there in the new economy.
