Her: "Weelllllll...it's a culture thing."
Me: ".........." |

Do what a clever poster on here suggested. Pin him down and let the whole class dongchim the offender. Works like a charm. Let them know if anyone decided to invade your bottom space. They'll get 20 something eager ones back. It's a culture thing |

| "Good morning," followed by a quick scurrying away. This fellow tried to make it so I couldn't attend dinners out with the English department. |

| Haha, knowing my luck I'd get arrested for torturing a child. They'd throw the book at me. Good idea though! |

Judo take down. Once is usually enough.
"I'm so sorry I have trained reflexes from my term in Prison." Oops maybe not the right thing to say... |

This is a good idea except without the pinning him down part. The threat should be enough.
Or, you could just grab them on the arm and give them the "stare of death", that usually does it for teachers |

| Bring him in close, and pretend you are telling him off, and squeeze the crap out if his hand. Works for me every time. |

Grab his hands and drape him over a desk. His butt will be exposed and then yell "Bali...Ddong-chim hae!!!!!!"
Everyone will get in on the fun.
After that carry pruning shears. Threaten to cut off one of his fingers and then tell the class about what the french did to English longbowmen. |

| Start dong chimming all the cute female teachers at your school. When you get busted, blame your co-teacher and say she told you it was part of Korean culture. |

Her: "Welllll...it's a culture thing."
Me: "Oh it's just a culture thing is it? Be a good girl and bend over that desk for me... I want to experience Korean culture...." |

In a class with quite a few activities where one involved singing a simple song.
Co-teacher: "They look bored."
Me:"What's your suggestion?"
Co-teacher: "Give them a handout."

Flaming eyes and an instant, serious rebuke always works...
really very simple. Getting the co-teacher to "explain" stuff only works half the time because as we all know, co-teachers tailor their translation service to suit themselves.
(especially if you're complaining about them to the boss. |
