I have some money saved up in a Korean bank account from a teaching gig that I've recently completed. Given the Euro->Won exchange rates, if I bring it home it'll turn to slush. I want to keep the money in Korea, and hopefully have it earn some interest.

I'm now on a tourist visa.

What do you recommend I do with my money?

Send it back. Unless you can be sure that you'll be on a legal visa later. Once the money is in Europe, you could buy stocks of Korean companies, and neutralise the exchange rates were you so inclined.

Hook up with a Korean gal and let her manage it.
They really do know where to find the shorter term high interest bank accounts.
When one account matures, she'll know whether to move it and where to put it next.
I don't know about the stock market as I don't gamble.
PMs are always safe.
