| They were following him for two years? I would have hoped they'd have gotten him sooner with a much quicker investigation. There's no telling how much damage he did during that time. |

They do such shows regularly, and air them usually during ratings month.
This broadcast obfuscates the issue by co-mingling rape of pre-teens with family-arranged marriages of teenagers. The sensation-mongering is par for the course.
Heck, marrying at 14 is not all that unusual, even in recent American history. Suddenly the men who have done that were predatory pedophiles? Many such men may be in our own families. |

I was really wondering about that too. I understand that you want to gather enough evidence but...............
Maybe it was because too many of the parents were complicit. |

It's always hopeful to try to stop that type of thing, but many countries are actually selling that as a commodity ! India, China, Thailand, parts of Africa ... the list goes on.

I think that was a wind-up. No-one would come to this board and admit to such a thing. However, I believe a former member of this board recently topped himself over child-porn charges. |

| There was a poster who married a VERY young filipina, but I'm pretty sure she was of age. People only made a stink about it because it was a 20+ year age difference. |
