I'm looking to have a custom made wedding dress. I know there are some shops by Ehwa. Can anyone recommend a specific shop that speaks English preferably? I have a picture of the dress. It would require a fair amount of beadwork.

I'm trying to find out a similar thing....but haven't had any really helpful replies yet.

I'm looking to get my grandma's wedding dressed altered and changed.

At the moment a friend of mine is trying to find out about a tailor in seoul for me...so if i find out something useful i'll pass the information on to you!

From what i can see a lot of men have had clothes such a suits made, but i can't seem to find out anything about women having dresses made.

My friend had hers made at a custom shop in Itaewon. It's down the back alley near McDonald's. Dress was really nice. It's near the underground market.

Hoi An, Vietnam! I'm not kidding. I had custom apparel in silk made for me and my wife for our wedding, based on drawings and magazine pictures. It was a very good deal, they spoke excellent English, and the savings pretty much paid for our vacation.
