The dollar itself has lost a lot of value against gold since going off of the gold standard in 1971. Personally, I think it could easily go either way for the Korean Won. |

Goldman Sachs thinks a unified Korea, if it were ever to happen... and that's a big IF... would surpass Japan and Germany by 2050 in GDP. Wow...

That's a pretty strong argument for unification... the 50% or so of South Korean citizens who oppose unification are probably complaining about the first one or two generations that will bear the heavy cost of integrating two different governments and systems. |
