Wars are fought between nations, countries and, especially in ancient history, tribes. It is the fascist-socialist leaders, dictators and various forms of strongmen that have craved, created and caused these wars.
This is a good point that demonstrates that governments are evil at best, and must be limited in power and scope. The people can and do have no say in these wars. In the recent US elections, with the majority against continued war, the Dems in control of Congress and the White House, the wars rage on.
The people are innocent. The government is an evil fascist-socialist monster. Your views are still misanthropic.

It is so well known that starvation is a result of government policies that there are no economists left to argue otherwise.

Drug companies should promote or push their own products. Being able to sell their products is the motivation for creating them. This is why we have so many useful pharaceutical products available for those who need them.
Simple and effective cures that actually exist (that is, they are not a fantasy, delusion or an urban myth), are effective, and not sold by, so not promoted by drug companies, should be used as much as possible.
But, how would the general public learn about such things? A good education would include such knowledge, but our fascist-socialist government schools have no interest in actually teaching anything, so it's no surprise that people are ignorant of such cures.
The government keeps the people ignorant about the Federal Reserve, the income tax, inflation, economics in general and how the government actually works.
The government keeps the people ignorant about how socialism has allowed pollution, urban sprawl, misallocation of resources, trillions of dollars of malinvestment in the wrong infrastructure, and destroyed 500 million jobs around the world with social security alone.
The government keeps the people ignorant keeps the people ignorant about how they have been enslaved by the government debt (now $99 trillion according to the FED) and income and property taxes.
So, keeping them ignorant about personal finance issues, personal health issues, ways of becoming stronger and more independent - really that's no surprise.
The more dependent and ignorant the people are, the easier they are to control.

Agreed. You usually do.

| Most adults are aware of such issues, they just don't care enough to protest such things. To be complicit in something is very nearly on the same level as doing it. |
Being aware that something is going on does not make one part of it which is what it means to be "complicit." If you know that three men are in a bank robbing it, you are watching it on TV at home, that does not make you complicit.
Sure, people are aware that there are problems. But they are at home watching on TV. Further, they have been miseducated so effectively by the government that they will believe and support the very same evil fascist-socialist government that caused the problems and promises more programs that will be even worse in the future.
We have seen here, a poster who was totally clueless about the fact that the death penalty is far more expensive than life in prison. Millions of Americans suffer from the same ignorance. No public school education program will ever counter that.
But, despite the efforts of the evil power-mad fascist-socialist politicans who dominate the American landscape today, I have hope that enough of the innocent, ignorant, slumbering masses will wake up, educate themselves, wake up and educate their neighbors, and overcome the political class and their brainwashed supporters, overthrow the government in a (hopefully) peaceful rEVOLution, and restore and eventually perfect our system of liberty based on the known Principles of Liberty.
So, I can still say:

It is absolutely true that a large percentage of the human beings in power are not innocent or pure, perhaps an overwhelming majority, in the past and in the present day - in fact, in the US, a large percentage are evil, fascist-socialist Democrats and Republicans.
However, I cannot agree that the general population is the same. Among the general populace, most adult human beings are innocent and pure except for minor vices which are mere personal pecadillos and not social problems.
It actually appears inevitable that one day the sheep will wake up, cast aside their ignorance and fear, and rise against the oppression of the wolves in Washington. I refuse to share your misanthropic view of humanity. |

And the people participate in these wars. America for one has an ALL-VOLUNTEER army.

Exactly my point. The government is working hand in glove with said drug companies.

If they know that there are problems why aren't they doing something about it? Sorry apathy is not an excuse. The reason is that they DON'T want to do something about it. It's much easier to lean back in your recliner and bitch about the government while sipping your beer, then it is to go out in the streets and protest, or write letters, or participate in voting for a third party candidate (provided he or she isn't loony tunes)

Except...has such a thing ever happened? And remember the army is paid by these same " evil power-mad fascist-socialist politicans"[b]
