People tend to tell you what they want for birthdays and Christmas and the like- all you've gotta do is listen closely enough. I was out with my sister, she mentioned how much she likes this perfume, but wishes it were cheaper- that's her Christmas present- easy peasy.

I have considered all of these things for the past month, but its not that easy.
He planned a huge event for my birthday. So he's expecting me to do something great. I dont have a lot of money to spend though.
I was actually thinking of doing something a little different... like maybe a helicopter ride or maybe like going whale watching? but i want to actually GIVE him something so if anyone knows where I can get tickets to these kinds of things that would be great.

You know, if your boyfriend is a metrosexual guy, he might very well enjoy a weekend get-away in a nice spa-like place..

Really? He didn't do it out of pure kindness without the expectation of you doing something equally or more expensive?

Come on, anything you do for him that requires some effort should be appreciated. Make it heartfelt. That should be enough.

Hello,
my boyfriends birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I'm stumped on what to get him.

i was thinking about buying him tickets to go on vacation for a weekend together somewhere, but hes still a university student so his family may now allow him (korean.)

i thought about buying him salsa lessons, but if we wanna do that together its impossible since we both live in different cities.

i thought about buying musical tickets but i can't find any good shows and he has midterm exams during the only ones that are good...

anything is appreciated... thanks in advance. ^^

None of these are presents for HIM. They are presents for the both of you, and quite frankly the salsa lessons sound like a present for you. This might be easier if you thought about what would make him happy without thinking about yourself at the same time.

New shoes

Seriously. It's a tradition in Korea for boyfriends and
girlfriends to give new shoes as a gift.

Ask around! See if I'm lying....

or.....am I? A little interesting Korean superstition I
learned recently....

Surprise him by waking him up by repeatedly kicking him in the head.
