Would it be cheaper to buy it when you get home? Is having one for the plane ride really worth the extra money you shell out to buy it in Korea? |

They are listed on the Korean Apple website, but the availability is still listed as '3-5 weeks'.
Got my gf to call one of the sellers on Auction, he said that nobody in Korea will have any 3rd gen ipod touch units for about 15 days. Take that with a grain of salt of course. |

From the Apple website:
Quote: |
They have yet to be approved for sale. You can buy it now and will receive it once ok'd by the government. If it is not approved, Apple will give you your money back. |

I'm sure you know by now but you can cop the 64GB ones in Korea now. Apparently they had them in stock since Thursday but they weren't allowed to sell them until Sunday.
I had a feeling this would happened and walked into the 명동 Frisbee Apple store and picked up one immediately on Sunday. Got a free "gift" of oversized earbud speakers, but they are a 40000원 value, I'll take that.
