Fox discerned in response to Sickenly Sweet Soft Drink:

I don't deny that Israel attempts to influence countries like Canada and the US to do things that benefit them. I don't even deny they at times succeed. What I deny is that they're somehow unique in this way. Many countries lobby the US and Canadian Governments to do things that benefit them, and they often succeed as well.

Well put.

Don't you have a dumpster or two to go digging around in? I think there must be at least one or two you could find to occup your time.

Well if I did I would certainly start with some of the rubbish that you've passed off as threads in the past. Unfortunately I don't time to go digging through your trash...

Do you have a problem with what I've said?

I just want to say, as I read that and looked at your NHL ref avatar it brought a smile to my lips. Such good symbolism of what the mods have to do here.

The report I saw said that by the time the dude finished his speech, something more than 1 in 3 had walked out. I just wonder why the others remained.

Yes, they've been reminded of this, but some including a person who is one of the few who was under old grandfathering type activity was allowed to come back (we don't do that anymore), won't play by the rules.

1. Canada should not be congratulated, and our Prime Minister's actions were hardly unique. This is the same PM who skipped a major climate change speech to do a photo op at a donut store!

2. It's not outside the realm of possibility that the reason he wasn't there was to court Jewish support for his party whenever our next election happens. That's not to say that it was the only reason or that he did it blindly, simply that it likely factored in.

3. re: Israeli lobby, every major and minor corporation in the world has lobbyists, NGOs have lobbyists. The person who described Israel has hardly being along got it quite right.

4. Maybe they control the world because, afterall, they are god's chosen people! Wink

Had he attended would "climate change" immediately stopped? Or you don't like his choice of empty gestures?

1. Photo op at a donut store, skiing trip when the King of Jordan dies, what's the big deal? The proof is in the proof, and that's the truth because Johnathan Cretin said so.

4. God is mentioned in the preamble; Liberal party schmucks are not, and that's just too bad.

re: the photo op, not a matter of stopping climate change or not liking his choice, my comment was only in relation to the idea that his walking out on Mr Iran was some grand gesture.

And as to the second person who quote me, you're why I stopped posting on these boards. I can't stand many things in Korea, but it's posters making comments like yours, with absolutely no value whatsoever that Koreans cite to say we're all horrible people. You could have phrased things in many ways, or addressed my actual comments, instead you did what you did. Nice.

Would it make you feel better if I put a smiley face beside it like you did making fun of observant Hebrews? Wink

Did that make it nicer? Wink Rolling Eyes

It does not necessarily signal approval. Perhaps they had meetings later and had some time to kill. Who knows? Tehran's govt today is for all intents and purposes a pariah, especially after the last election.
