The first song playing on the radio this morning seems particularly ironic to me as I look out at the greyness that is my little part of Korea.
So my question for you....what song do you guys use to wake you up and motivate you on mornings like this? |

I listen to German and British radio over the internet. Not going to catch me listening to Arirang FM or The Eagle. |

I can't remember how long for, but I listened to two Tool songs on my walk to work every day for a long while (The Grudge and Reflection). |

the mist on the mountains, the lush green trees, the blue water with white wave crests
was a beautiful morning here
Her Diamonds, by Rob Thomas was the first song I recall hearing today on Virgin Radio Vancouver on the 'net |

John Meyer. Not by choice so I try to sleep. Before I met so many damn north americans I had never heard of John Meyer and Dave Matthews and I was a happier person for it. |

If I wake up tired or hungover I don't know why exactly but I always play these two songs and they put me right...
'Would' - Alice in Chains
'Son of a Gun' - Nirvana
Perhaps the dreamy delivery of the verse in would is the state I'm in and the energy of the chorus is where I want to get too
Son of a Gun is just so upbeat and cool, no explaination needed 'Sun shines into the bedroom, when we play / the raining always starts when you go away...!' It's always cool to hear Kurt had some upbeat moments... |

A bit off topic, but I swear that most of my freshmen listen to Rage's Killing In The Name Of before they come to class-- "F*** you, I won't do what you tell me....". |

I waken to the "Bees & Flowers" alarmclock tune on my LG Anyphone each morning. Its effectively cheerful. |
