I have an advanced 6th Grade class in which we learn a wide range of scientific vocabulary. I have a lower level class that is learning basic grammar. Right now we're focusing on past tense: teach/taught, drink/drank, travel/traveled.
It's surprising how little English they know after 6-7 years of studying.
I guess it's even more surprising how little English they know after 15 years of studying |

Until you consider how lousy the Korean English teachers are.
Then it becomes surprising that they learn ANYTHING! |
