The meat at lunch today had a lot of bones. I didn't think it would be appropriate to take the bone out of my mouth so I swallowed it. It was about nickel sized. Will I be able to digest it? Will it sit in my stomach forever? Will it get stuck in my intestines? Should I go to the hospital?

Your stomach acid should do a number on it. That stuff's incredible.

I've been working for years on a way to be able to spit it at people...like Reptile on Mortal Kombat.

I really don't think this thing is coming out in its present size. Is there anything I can do to strengthen my stomach acid immediately?

Everyone was eating the stuff, so I figured they just swallowed the bones. I assumed if they were swallowing them, they must do it all the time, and it must not be unhealthy. But after doing it, I looked around at their trays and everyone had left the bony pieces untouched. I told my co-teacher what I just did and she was shocked. She said I shouldn't be eating the bones.

If babies can come out of...well....you-know-where, I can't imagine a bone will cause much of a ruckus. My bet is you won't even notice.

Yah!! Nice try!! The walls of the tube an infant slides out of are 20-30 cell layers thick. Very durable with lots of mucus. The other tube is 3-7 cell layers thick with less mucus, not nearly as plyable and not meant for......

Bone is calcified cartilage. Calcium is a metal (in case you people did not know). The HCL in your stomach is meant to break up soft organics like meats and vegetables etc.

Why am I wasting my time on this.... It's going to hurt, period!! Sorry brother!! I hate to say this, but I would be hoping for no sharp edges on that baby when it finally decides to slide via gravity.
