TF2 the engi.

"Pick spot. Shut up. Wait."

And here is a second one from a different, but similar, (*hint hint*) game.

"I know how tough it is bein' a leader, because I've been one. I always forget who has what materia."

Final Fantasy Seven. Materia is the key. Barret or Captain Cid, yeah? Mmmm Tifa. Radical game. First quote must be from a Final Fantsy tactics game??? Don't know. Here's another final fantasy quote, not which game but who said it: "Hee Hee Hee! Good! Burn up everything!"

and my real quote: "I shall now teach you of French kissing."
Hint: game is not yet released. but it's gonna be awesome!

My first reaction was Forsaken or Decent 3, but I admit that I Googled it..more to find out if I was right than simply to be correct.

Embarassed

Shall I then answer? I guess...

Mechwarrior. Great game.

Easy one...

I think our pics sum up what we respectively think is awesome: scary faced best drummer in the world vs the barely pubescent k-pop wannabe musician dance-troupe. True, heavy metal is just as subjective as pop, but Tim Schafer is rad, really radical.

demophobe: I feel like I should know this one... Is it spoken or written?

I actually have no idea who my avatar is but I had another user call me a pedo so she might actually be prepubescent.

I'm strictly a FPS & arcade-y driving game player. Though I appreciate a well produced TBS game... oh I lust for the days of X-Com and pray every night for a PS3 version of Warhammer 40k Squad Command.

First quote was from Kimarhi is FFX. I really thought FFX had the best leveling system and blitz ball...oh my God, that was a game in itself. Best mini-game ever.

Second was Cid.

It is spoken...again and again, ad naseum.

Now...best drummer in the world...is that Josh Freese in make up?

No mention of the cute little monkey? Sad

Josh Freese... had to wiki that name, he's in a few good bands (currently WEZZER which is rad.) But I'm talking about shredding best, hands down most solid chops in the world. Blast beats for 4 minutes straight. Crazy time changes in what has been described by noted critics such as myself as "Disco-Metal." Only Trym from EMPEROR and Hellhammer from MAYHEM can hold a candle to the best drummer in the world: FROST. Full time drummer for SATYRICON and session drummer for GORGOROTH, KEEP of KALESSIN and 1349. google that on youtube.

As far as the "cute little" monkey goes, if by "cute" you mean "demonic" and "little" you mean those beady eyes leering at that huge banana then yes, you do have a cute lil monkey at your house. At least, it's less disturbing than all those kids smoking cigarettes in batman and robin costumes that I've seen hanging around your posts in the past. Although, children smoking is admittedly metal.

and that game quote has me stumped. I'm either gonna look stupid when someone answers it or I'm gonna say, "the heck's that?"

The game is Splinter Cell, you pick the series. Number 3 is most prominent for the stupidity of the repeated phrases...

Now...I will have to look up Frost. Freese however, should not be looked at by which band he is currently in; the man has been on well over 300 CDs in the last 8 years...a gun for hire. His best work - and only nearly full time job - is with The Vandals. I will look up Frost, but mate...it will take a lot to top Freese, purely for his immense talent. I have been a drummer since I was 6 and he is one of the few that drop my jaw.

Ok...

The game has already been said here, but this quote is just too good in context. Since it has already been used, name which version. I read all the books, I love the universe. The PC games were beyond amazing, the console game was shit.

"Whew! I'm glad I'm not in infantry!"

A: Nice paintjobs... C'mon pretty boys!
B: Here they come.

"Ohh, stepped on some Steiner."

A: You tag 'em, we frag 'em.
B: Getting a little corny on the Com aren't we?
