Anyone work there or know anyone who has? I've been offered a contract and they want me to start asap.
Thanks |

Gongju is a very small armpit of a town. It is about 30km from Daejon, but by bus it takes nearly an hour to get there. I was there a long time ago and hated ever minute. Fortunately, it wasn't for very long.
I don't know the school, but typically the students in that area are not as refined as you will find in Seoul. A lot of farmers and labor class kids. They aren't that bad, but a little more unruly than I have found in Seoul.
If you like isolation then you might enjoy it. The countryside in the area is pretty. There just isn't much to do there. |

Cheers for the info. I've been trying to get on Facebook to have a look at some of the Gongju groups to see if I can get some more info for the last couple of hours and not being able to log on. Very frustrating. |
