Season starts October 17th

Full schedule is only provisional so that is why it hasn't ben made official yet but I can assure you there will be 2 games played over the weekend of 17th-19th (one home and one away).

Finishes first week of March

The "Gun" is back in the league after his military stint. Hands down best Korean baller.

yeah, Ulsan look good...actually this season looks like a big one. Crowds were up a lot last season and the atmosphere at most stadiums (baring daegu and Busan) was fantastic.

Lots of good info here for all the korean readers...
www.jumpball.co.kr

A few teams with big chances...
*Jeonju KCC - got the monster plus their Georgia Tech kyopo and some good outside shooters. Just need a decent foreigner (brand is good though) and thewy would be favorites. I think they will make it 2 in a row. Choo Sung-Gyun is starting to get a bit old one would think now.

*SK Knights - any team with Sumaki Walker looks great. Along with Bang Song-Yoon and Kim Min-Soo they wll be a big threat. Kim tae-Sul also is a very good ball handler.

*Ulsan Phoebis - Yang Dong-Gun is back and with ham Ji-Hoon looking to have a breakout season this could be it. Dunston was great for them last year and Kim Hyo-Bum wll be hitting more now te best PG is back.

*Seoul Samsung - Leather was a monster for them last seasn and they are going with the same foreign pairing of Leather and Thomas. Lee Gyoo-Sup always classy from the 3 and should be there once again.

Should be around the playoffs...
*LG sakers- Fully remade their lineup and look to have offensive guns everywhere. Drafted 2 very good foreigners and their kyopo is killing it in pre-season. Could surprise and get in the top 4.

*Wonju Dongbu - always a threat with Kim Joo Sung and Chandler (with Anyang last season) is one of the best in the league but I just feel that their time has passed them. Just don't have much in the guards it looks ike they are re-tooling a bit.

Might struugle
*Anyang KT & G - picked up monster Dixon in the foreign draft and Joo Hee-Jung was fantasic last season but I think they rely too much on him and will be just outside the top 6 this season.

*Incheon Eland Elephants (formally Blackslammers) - haven't made the playoffs for something like 7 seasons and were just pipped last season. Had a good one last year with powell but he has moved on and former NBA player Mccaskill is in. Seo Jung-Hoon is too old to have any impact and without some decent additions will struggle.

*Busan KT Sonic Boom (formally magic Wings) - sucked badly last season. Their korean players are probably the worst in the league nd I feel have drafted badly for foreigners. Will probably be battling for last agan.

*Daegu Orions - all depends on Kim seung-Hyun. If he is healthy they can challange top 6. If not they will struggle without his creativity a PG. Drafted a decent foreigner in Hill but once again korean players are not the best.

Oh boy Oh boy.

I can't wait to start watching this league. I know little about it so maybe you guys can help me out. Which team is an underdog? I'm not looking for the rich team that buys all the best players and consistently wins like the LA lakers for example. Any underdog teams worth supportiing in the Seoul area? Seoul samsung?

Both Seoul Samsung and SK look very good this seasn.

If you live near Incheon you could support them...they would wear the underdog tag you are looking for. They play out at Bucheon so if you live on the westside of Seoul it isn't too far.
