Being as this is my first year in South Korea, I didn't realize that I should buy my ticket for traveling on Friday (Chuseok) in advance. The trains are all sold out, but I thought maybe I could take a bus. Is there a website where I can purchase a bus ticket online or do I just have to go to the bus terminal in Gangnam and buy it there? It says buses run every 15-30 minutes to Daegu, so if I just waited until Friday to buy it do you think that'd be okay? |

Try to get a Korean co-teacher to book one for you online. They will be gone for HOURS in advance if you just show up at the station on Friday. |

Also try the other terminals such as dong-seoul, and remember road traffic will be very bad. |

I honestly would not try it unless there is a necessary reason for going to Daegu during Chuseok. The traffic will be ridiculous, even for bus lanes. If you must, you might go much later in the evening or early Saturday morning. |

I agree with moldy. One of my students went their with her folks last year. Driving took nearly 17 hours. Sounds like a nightmare. |
