| Hey everybody. Is there a store where you can buy bread boards, power supplies, PICs (or equivalent), PIC programmers (or equivalent) and other stuff like that in Seoul? I see that you can buy bread boards and power supplies on gmarket, but I would prefer to be able to go to a store sometimes. Thanks! |

Get ye rear to Yongsan Electronics Market. In the basement of the ET-Land building you'll find oodles of these shops. Far superior to Radio Shack. You'll probably poop your pants from excitement.
Look at the map after scrolling down through this link. It's builiding D:

| I just buy everything online. No need to go all the way to Yongsan, just go to www.devicemart.co.kr. They have pretty much everything the hobbyist could ever want!! |

| Out of curiosity may I ask what hobby this is/what you are building? I have close to zilch knowledge of electronics. My dad was all into electronics and stuff as a hobby. I found it boring, but now I find myself more than a little curious. I don't know any of the terms, but its cool to learn about peoples hobbies that don't involve beer or the same old crappy garage band. |

Wow, this seems so very cool!
By the way, this type of thing seems like it may need the type of thing i'm looking for too..... Anyone know where you can find Ferric Chloride in Seoul? (ferric chloride is a acid used for etching copper... like copper circuts I think?) I am a jewelry artist and use it for etching copper jewelry, but mine's kaput. Very very sad. |
