what has made you smile when you heard or were told something funny?

i was getting my arm casted yesterday; the dr. asked me if i'm a cry-baby. it was too funny and made me laugh regardless of the pain that i felt.

I said a student say to me,

Teacher you are so perfect, I could never be like you.

I laughed for a long long time....

We were playing a game, it was obvious he was trying to rack up some serious points. I gave him 1 for effort. lmfao

I think I may have posted this before on here but:

At the pharmacy:

Me: "Hi. I need some cough syrup. Gitchim shirop."

Man behind counter: "Do you have...<repeatedly clearing his through loudly and point to it>....spum? spum?!"

Me: <Laughing> "No, I have phlegm tho." Laughed till I cried.

The end.

(I think the man ran for his dictionary as I was walking out.)

I remember when I first moved into my dormitory here at the University. There's a paticular sign that makes me giggle everytime I pass it. Essentially, it says 'no Touchy-Feely' between male and female students. And yes, they used the term 'touchy-feely'. I haven't heard that term in such a long time, but it's so cute.

Another gem yesterday:

"Teacher, Kevin is take a dump!"

*much pointing and laughing*

No matter how old we are, the male gender seems to find poo-poo jokes funny

One of my students was describing a picture of a wizard putting a book on a shelf. " The magic grandfather puts the story in the book home." I died when he said magic grandfather and it quickly became the new joke for a few weeks with my students.

From: http://koreanrumdiary.blogspot.com/2009/02/kids-say-stupidest-shit.html

My kids are young and can't say "f" or really pronounce any words very well, so whenever they're done, they say "*beep*-shed" (finished) or "*beep*-sea" (finish). It cracks me up every time.

Of course it works both ways and they mock the hell out of my attempts at Korean.

Damn, I didn't think they'd censor that... What the kids said was "peeness-shed" and "peeness-sea"

Another one: When a kid wanted a yellow crayon, he shot his hand up and yelled: "Teacher, I am yellow!"

After asking did anyone have any news, one of my students answered with, "Last night my father robbed another woman and my mother was crying."
