Hello Everyone.

JARASUM JAZZ FESTIVAL AND BREWERY COTTAGE STAYs

As you know, the beer at Ka-Brew (the all you can drink place at Miaseomgeori station) is made right here in Korea, in Gapyeong province.

Well, right next to the brewery we also have a cottage that can be rented out. You can stay the night, drink the same beer you enjoy at Ka-Brew, and barbecue.

The first large event to be held at the cottage will be a get-together after the Jarasum Jazz Festival. There will be many people in the area for the Jazz Festival, but no place to go afterwards. How about swinging over to the cottage for some barbecue and New Zealand style Hangi (steam cooked meat and veggies).

The price is 30,000 Won for accommodations, food, all-you-can-drink beer, and possibly breakfast in the morning if people request it.

Contact Mike Berry at [email protected] to set up your stay for the Jarasum Jazz Festival!

If you are interested in renting out the brewery sometime this fall, please contact [email protected] for details.

How big is this cottage? How many people can it sleep? Does it have beds or just blankets on the floor? What exactly do you mean when you say 'rent out the whole brewery'? What does that include?

It's 30 pyeong. It can fit about 20 people comfortably. Korean style mats, sheets, and pillows will be provided if you don't have your own sleeping bag. I didn't say you could rent out the brewery Smile But again, renting out the cottage includes all you can drink beer, accommodations, food and pick up and drop off. Also, we can arrange hiking tours, etc, if you'd like something to do before hanging out.

But if say two people show up for a night, is this all still possible? Cook on the BBQ, beer, etc? Are there separate rooms or is this one big room? Would it be ok to bring a dog and have it ruff it on the floor also?

And I guess I'll have to find another brewery. Smile

The price would be adjusted for two people, but I could find out how much...it is indeed possibly though. I'm sure a dog is fine. There are seperate rooms and they're all pretty big.

The last bit was a typo.

Let me get this straight. For 30,000 won, I can BBQ, drink all the beer I want, then sleep in a room with 20 other people and a dog or two? Smile

Well, I'll have to talk to the owner about the dogs. Don't see why they'd be a prob, especially if they slept outside.
