This is a question for doctors or google. But you are in an extremely low risk category. Unless lady was bleeding profusely from her gums and you had a bunch of open sores on your johnson you can sleep easy. Besides of which, symptoms of HIV generally show up within the first two weeks. Are you experiencing strange, flu like symptoms per chance? If so, don't walk out in cloudy weather, you will almost definitely be the guy who gets struck by lighting twice.
Do yourself a favor- buy flavored condoms. Your peace of mind could use a thin barrier of latex. |
No, i haven't experienced strange flu like symptoms. Thanks for your input. I'm hoping to be more on the paranoid side than actually having STD's.
However, worst case scenario. At the health check in Korea, say they do find an STD from me. What would happen? Would they kick me out? Someone mentioned that since STD's are already there in Korea, it wouldn't be a big deal. They go after HIV, hepatitis, swine, and syphilis so I have nothing to worry about. Does this sound right? |

I haven't the faintest clue what they would do if they found you contracted one of these. My guess is there is no standard way to behave, these measures were put in place to appease a panicked public, and rather than deal with the paperwork and confusion they would just forget about it. Thank you for reminding me I should be mad at the Korean government for this kind of treatment. Pretty much the laws are in place to make happy a bunch of half baked ninnies who have been brainwashed into believing foreigners are the bringers of all that is evil and not their government's crappy domestic policy.
Not trying to be offensive here, but was your education a little light on the pertinent information side? I am prepared to be enraged on your behalf towards the bible thumping twerps who felt it righteous and good to plop you in the middle of the big bad world without bothering to explain a few basic facts of life. |

Sorry but are you really this naive.
You have had oral sex what three times? Your chance of having any std is so small that it is pretty much zero. If you are worried go get a sexual check up, do you have sexual health clinics in your country? In mine it's free, quick and professional. It is something any sexually active person should do at least annually anyway.
They will not kick you out if you have herpes, among sexually active people the rate of infection is around 25% anyway.
It is very difficult to catch HIV, even with unprotected sex (anal increases the chances considerably as does rough vaginal sex).
syphilis can only be spread when symptoms are present (first stages can be missed tho) and yes can be spread via oral, however syphilis is not a common disease, something like 2-3 people per 100,000
do they not have sex education in your country? These are things that you should have learned in high school. If you are worried you have an std get checked
Swine flu, they are not going to kick you out as that would mean placing you on a plane exposing hundreds of other people to the disease. |

thanks for your input chocolates. I did get educated on this, but I think I might be paranoid...like I said, I''m just looking at the worst case scenario.
I think I'll be fine... |

It's not the diseases that you have that medical science knows of that you should be worried about - It's the ones they don't know about.
Do you have any of those? |

| Just FYI, when you start developing game and start having sex, get checked by a doctor or a health clinic every time you change partners. It will give you and your partner some peace of mind. |

Hello, as is required for every English teacher I will be required to get a health check and drug test within the first week of my arrival.
SMOE says they require an "HIV test and a drug test." Does this mean that they will not conduct tests that involve STD's such as herpes?
I am 99% sure I don't have an STD and I tend to be a worrier (so my friends tell me).
I do not know if it is appropriate to post on here, but I will try. I have never engaged in sex, but have received oral (I'm a guy) unprotected three times. I believe I do not have any symptoms, but as I have said before I'm kind of on the paranoid side.
Is it still possible that I contracted an STD? Does SMOE require STD tests or just HIV? If someone can PM me about this or reply onto this board, I would be very thankful. I just want a peace of mind before I get there |
i hope you arent serious, but its just an HIV test. and unless she had an open sore on her mouth, you have almost no chance of getting it. even then i wouldnt let that girl near my member. |
