Over the holiday weekend the school decided to install Ahn Lab V3 Internet Security and some program that looks like a satellite dish.
Well, my computer took forever to start up and both IE and Chrome got hung up. I deleted them, but they came back. So, I deleted them from the start up precess, which also did not work.
Is there any way to delete these programs so they never come back?

Note: The computers are on a network which I think may be causing them to come back.

its probably also running as a service. The service would automatically put the start-up entry back in.

Run msconfig, and goto the services tab. Hide the microsoft services and see if you see it there. If so try unchecking it removing it from the start up again.

Password lock your computer. Disable the administrator backdoor account hack as well.

Just boot normally, but follow crossmr's advice.

Don't actually uninstall it; it will be re-installed automatically. Disable it in the services menu, then in the msconfig listing. Reboot, and it will either be a greyed-out "V3" in the system tray, or (if you covered all bases) not there at all. It has 3 to 5 services running, and there will be a couple or three entries in the boot menu as well. It is basically a virus itself.

On a similar vein is anyone getting a recurring pop up to install PC Inspector? I think it's a virus but I can't see how I got it unless some Korean was pissing around on my PC over Chuesok. The reason why I doubt it's a virus is because it's all in Korean, but that could mean nothing.

Normal attempts to remove it, uninstall, msconfig, malawarebytes all failed. I used Hijackthis and deleted a few things but now I can't connect to tinternet. It's a load of bloody bollocks, why can' they just leave me alone Crying or Very sad Now I'm going to have to spend the whole day (no lessons, exams) fixing the stupid thing.
