What firmware are you on? If you're still on 3.2 it's really easy assuming you have Twilight Princess. There are ways for any firmware though I think.

EDIT: Also, that site that you link to appears to be trying to charge for the softmod. They're all meant to be distributed for free. Those people are just trying to rip people off. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Bannerbomb

This has really tempted me to purchase a Wii. Too bad I want a 360 (for modded games) and PS3 (would go legit here... and not 'cause I don't have a choice) as well : (

i paid 30000 to get mine chipped a couple of months ago and another 20000 to get the language changed to english. those diy softmods seem a bit too hard on the head for my liking.
tested it online as well against my brother in law in canada and it works fine.
it doesnt play dvds though. apparently theres a program you can download and put on a memory card to do this but im scared of bricking it.

Has anybody tried going the USBLoader route?
I keep thinking about it, but the trouble is finding a compatible USB HD.

Yup, and generally anything other than a Seagate will work fine. I got a Buffalo external with what I think is a Western Digital drive in it. One thing though: The app "USB LoaderGX" often will produce a black screen while loading more recent games like Sports Resort. NeoGamma R6 has given me the best results. It's not as professional looking but it's very solid.
