| to be honest, I can see Seoul Tower from here, but that picture is not from my apartment. I could go take one now with my phone, but it takes too long to download. |

Thanks buffoon. Fantastic reply. Splendid job at trashing this thread.
All of the examples mentioned are what any average person would want in a city of a zillion people and varieties.
Go bad mouth the ajeosi's outside if you're drunk, don't post antagonising garble here.
Question still stands. Which areas of Seoul are the best to live and work in. If thats your area, could ya share why |
actually, the first reply to this was the best. how can we answer this question when we don't know what you want? do you want nightlife and parties - then move to hongdae/gangnam area. do you want peace and quiet with a little bit of scenery - then maybe move to nowon-gu where there are mountains on your doorstep. do you want to live on the outskirts of the city in affluent areas - then ilsan or bundang. decide what kind of thing you desire in the place where you want to live and then we will be able to answer your question accurately. |

| If you're willing to consider the sattelite cities, I'd go for Bundang. It's newer, it's cleaner, and it has less traffic than Seoul. It has a large foreigner community, and all the conveniences of Seoul. The drawback is that it lacks the Seoul nightlife, so you have to make the commute for that. On the other hand, it's connected to the Seoul subway lines, and has many, many buses connecting it to Seoul, so the commute is easy. |

I agree that Bundang is a great city and would live there after I get married and spend my single years in Kangnam. I'll still have to be Kangnamdragon though; Bundangdragon sounds a little strange to me. |

And I live there; so it's got one more positive thing (one helluva big thing, don't you agree, Gwangjuboy?) going for it.
Plus there are tons of places to play basketball. And a lot of babes.
Rich babes.

Don't you mean Poon?Dang!?
I'm still having a hard time of convincing the municipal gov't to re-re-change the name.
But I believe my cause is noble, right, and righteously noble.
To the Nth degree.

| These new spelling changes did not work. I don't live in Gangnam. There are no gangs here. |
