|
|
i searched for this, but only found unrelated results. does anyone have any (preferably, tested) songs that are good for grade 1 of middle school?
i'm hoping the song is easy enough that i won't have to run through that much vocab and can focus more on activities and understanding.
any suggestions would be fantastic! thanks. |

I agree with Lemon tree.
I think there is a Korean version of it as well. |

My school pumps songs out of the tannoy each lunch time in an effort to get the kids to learn them. Apart from the ones listed above, we've played eye of the tiger, obladi oblada and some others that even I can't remember. Right now as a bit of fun my after school kids and I are learning Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd. That song makes them laugh once you teach them the meaning. There's loads that dduebel has made at http://www.vimeo.com/album/33270 |

I'd go with 'Killing In The Name Of' by Rage Against The Machine personally. Not much linguistic value, but it may be appropriate in a boy's middle school class. |
