There used to be a small shop in downtown Daejeon that sold quaker oatmeal, but that area was redeveloped and the shop closed. Does anyone know of a place in Daejeon where I can buy Quaker Oatmeal?

Usually buy ours online at ezshopkorea.com, pretty high mark-up I think; then if you need porridge, you need porridge .
Heard a rumour that Costco were carrying some brand, but just seen the Quaker packets with sugary additives.

I just looked at the site you suggested and Quaker Oats are 18,500 won per box. The shop in Daejeon was 14,500. I thought that was high, but wow. I think I'll have to pass on that one. Thanks for the info, though.

I have some Quaker Oats that I brought back from my trip to Cebu 2 months ago. I have several 1kg sealed packages. If you want to buy some, send me a PM

Thanks. Can you tell me the Korean name of the product? I don't see oatmeal listed anywhere.

There are a lot of sellers on gmarket hawking the big 1.2kg tubs of quakers which I presume is what you're after. Going price is usually around 12,500 for 1 or 23000 for 2. That's a lot of oats.

You can buy tubs of Quaker Oats at Expo Core in Jungmin dong, along with many other foreign goods.

Here it is.

It's called 오트밀 in Korean. It says it comes from Canada.

Here is the Quaker Oats
