Embarassed Sorry. I must be having an off-day.

If you can't read Korean, it's pretty tough to get registered and arrange for delivery. Try to find a sympathetic Korean who can either get you registered and order for you or order it using their ID.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

You could get a nice 26'' 720p HDTV for 500,000 won or less. It's an excellent size for a bedroom, I have one, a Toshiba. It works great for me.

Looks like the price has gone up too...from 1.2 million to 1,350,000 on the first link I posted; and from 1,050,000 to 1,125,000 on the second one.

I thought TVs were supposed to get cheaper over time?! Confused

Do you really need a TV? You can buy nice, 22 inch monitors for 200'000원 or less nowadays.

Yeah. You'd be much better getting an LCD TV/monitor. Use the TV tuner for cable. Or watch downloads with your computer.

Yeah, I tried to haggle with the guy but he wasn't having in, even after 30 minutes. I think they are going up because it's a kickass tv that isn't being produced anymore. I bought mine the weekend before Chuseok and I won't get it until the 10th, he said because they only have 150,000 left or something along those lines.
