I just took it and feel a little better.
I'll send an update in 5 hours.
It tastes very herbal medicine style, similar to the Korean cold cure sang-hwa-tang.
Not cheap at 5,000 won, but worth it if it works.
Normally I reach for Alka Seltzer, but i reached into my nigtstand drawer and the bloody box was empty. |

I tried one of those once and it appeared to actually do something. Might have been the fact that it cost 4000won and my brain made a placebo effect so I wouldn't feel bad about spending that much on Kool Aid. Still I think it worked. Was called "Power" in Korean, i think.
My hang over cure is one of those little green bottles called 까스 (I think that's how it is spelled) in Korean. It's for upset stomach (gas) and a bottle of Pocari Sweat. |

It's almost five hours later and the upset stomach isn't bothering me anymore.
I still have the headache, which is what Alka Selzter is really great for. But I think I should be better by tonight.
I find Alka Seltzer from time to time in the foreigners market at Namdaemun or in the back alley in Itaewon. |

| "The Wakey potion" (야) is more similar to a red bull...it is for energy. I have only seen it sold in the family mart in my neighborhood (I live in a college area) and cant seem to find it in other neighborhoods. It seems marketed for students who are staying up all night studying for exams. |
