Alright first time posting. I'm on the F4 visa and trying to get my CRC done but I'm already in Korea. So I printed out the standard 10 print fingerprint card from online cuz the embassy said I could... I got my fingerprints done at the police station here in Korea. Then I sent it over with my application and $25 check to Dept of Justice in Sacramento. Couple weeks later my parents got everything back with a real standard print card and note stating that the amount on the check was wrong and that it should $32 and also asked specifically why I needed my crc. Well it's not for my visa but for SMOE, so am I suppose to say it's for personal use or for visa purposes? Ack has anyone done this from Korea?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated |

why are you even even bothering with all that nonsense? just fill out out a consent form that gives your employer permission to apply for your CRC, sign it, hand it to them and say, 'I hope you'll be happy with what you find.'
If they say it's a condition of employment, just say they should have asked for it before they hired you if they wanted you to provide it. |
