Hey all,

Here is this week's schedule for Ka-Brew (all you can drink craft beer, 10,000W, Miaseomgori station).

Tuesday, NFL night.

Wednesday, Guitar Hero Contest (check events).

Thursday, Wing night (English teachers are 10% off, University professors drink free if they bring 5 drinking age students).

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, regular nights.

Basically, the event night and wing nights have been bumped up, and we're doing a new thing for wing-night where English teachers get discounts. Come check us out. Hit the link for details.

Do they have real beer there or just pilsners and other water-flavored brews for little girls? Names and percentages please.

We have a pilsner, hefeweizen, and a dark ale. I don't know the percentages off the top of my head, but not more than 5.25% (in Korea, if you brew beer that's more than 5.25% you have to file a ton of paperwork).

The beers aren't watery at all; honestly they have more body than most of what you'll find in this country.

I went to Ka-brew a few weeks ago and had a real good time. The food was decent. The beer tasted fine.........all for a great low price.............although you do need to drink an awful lot to get a drunk on. I would guess the beer I drank that night was 4% or less.

Did you mostly drink the hefeweizen? I have a feeling that is the weakest one. I get drunk more easily on the pilsener and the dark ale.

Yes. I tried the pilsener and the dark ale too. It was all good, compared to Korean beer, but I preferred the weizen so I stuck to that.

I actually agree, and I'll check on this, but I'll take a stab and say that the Hef is 4%, the DA is probably 4.5% or so, and the Pils is definitely between 4.75 and 5.25. Also, if you notice, the Hef is quite full bodied and the pils is pretty light in comparison...that's because of the increasing alcohol. I always tell people to drink the Pils first, then the Hef. If you do the reverse the pils will taste watery, even though it's not.

Tonight is Alley Kat and Teacher night! That means: English teachers are 10% off! Seriously! Also, college professors who bring 5 or more drinking-age students will drink for free. Without the students, they will also receive 10% off. NOT ONLY THAT, but Alley Kat will be included with the 10,000 Won beer buffet.

Hey Jdog,

What does wing night entail? What kind of special is there regarding wings?

I'm going to rename the wing night, actually. From now on it's English Teacher night, and like I said above, English Teachers & Professors will get 10% off, and Profs. drink free if they bring 5 or more students. Also, Alley Kat is included. Honestly, since our wings are reasonable to begin with (5,000 for 7), I think this deal is better than a wing night.

Yep. Oh, and because I was super tired last night, I just left my xbox at the pub, so, Guitar Hero is still on tap for those who want to play it, but this won't be a Thursday thing.
