I am new to the ESL job search so I was wondering why some places make multiple postings on eslcafe?

Do they do this because they are trying to fill a mass shortage?

Do they do this to see how many teachers (are/are not) interested in the position?

Do they do this to see if someone allready in Korea will respond therefore saving them expenses(airfare, visa, etc.)?

OR is that just how employers have to post things on the Job search board? Do they have to buy a certain amount of postings?
If not and they pay per posting seems like it would get expensive after awhile.

Any advice would help cause it just seems a little shady to me but then again I am new to this so let me in on any "trade secrets" that will help me out.

In other words, is it wise to keep sending my information EVERY time I see the same job on eslcafe?

Does this make me look desperate or determined to get a job in Korea?

PS: I have also seen this on the International job search too but was more curious about Korea for the moment.

Peace to all who read this!!!!!!!
